We are here to link up with Holly for
I asked Holly if it was ok to post about our new Facebook Fan Page and she said absolutely and said she'd like to see how to do it so here we go!! :O)
First off, though, I have to give huge props to my friend Anne at Looking From Third to Fourth who encouraged me to start a Facebook Fan Page last week and then held my hand (in cyberspace) through the process. So these are her directions, I just made the screenshots. Thanks Anne!!!
First, I logged into my personal Facebook account. (You can click on any of the pictures to enlarge them since they are so small.)
I found the More button on the right and clicked it. This is what I saw:
I clicked Create a Page from the More menu. This is where it took me:
Once I clicked Business, it took me to this:
From here, I don't have screenshots because I had already made our fan page and I wasn't sure what would happen if I made a fake page. But, it takes you through steps like creating a username (we picked Collaboration Cuties) and it lets you add information in about you (your blog).
From there, all you have to do is put in a profile picture and a cover photo. Here's what ours looks like:
To get the cover photo to look like our blog, I just went to our blog page, right clicked on the header, and chose copy image. Then I pasted it into powerpoint and saved it as a png file and just uploaded it right into Facebook. It pretty much fit perfectly!! :O)
I'm not sure if this was at all helpful, but hopefully it was a little if you wanted to know how to do this...
**Update- several of you have made a page from this tutorial. If you do, please leave a link to your fan page and we will gladly like your page as well! Also, if you already have a FB Fan Page, leave us a link and we will like it!!**

Funny! Last night after I posted my "Hey Gurl" testing post, I thought I should probably have a FB page, instead of putting it on my blog.

I'm still deciding if I want to set up a FB page for my blog. It just seems like "one more thing to do," plus I already have a FB page for my hat making business. If I ever decide to take the plunge, I'll head back over to your post!
