Amanda is currently:
listening to my daughter play with her Furby (that thing is a little creepy). And since typing this, I'm listening to my boys try to wrestle (somebody will end up hurt).
loving that I can stay in my jammies all day. I'm notorious for this over several days of the break!
thinking that I'm not ready to go back to school tomorrow. I haven't hardly touched my school bag this break so I haven't done lesson plans. It's a good thing tomorrow is a planning day (oh wait- we have scheduled meetings all day!).
wanting to keep cuddling with my littles. They have alternated sitting with me in the big recliner today and it's been so sweet!
needing to do lesson plans for this short week and next week.
one little word- kids. 2 meanings. I have a hard time going back after a break because I've enjoyed my kiddos so much. I usually have guilt going back after the break because I want to stay home with my kids but I know my 4th grade kids need me, too. I'll be fine after the first day back, it's just the building up to it.
I'm sure you can see a theme with my Currently. Heading back to school tomorrow is weighing on me, but I know everything will be fine!!

I can't believe so many people go back so early, I guess we're lucky to have those few extra days. Although we have a pretty big stretch then without holidays until Spring Break (not that I'm counting already or anything :)). Your blog is really cute! :)

Yes. Terribly Annoying. I had no idea what it was. Apparently I missed that whole craze the first time around and so I had no idea what it was. She was dying for it though. Sigh.

DeleteI can totally relate about loving the pjs, I think my body is going to go into shock when I wear real clothes tomorrow! I hope the furby doesn't drive you too crazy, I use to have one & they can be pretty vocal! Have a great day back tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteHaha! My daughter locks the Furby in her closet when it starts annoying her. I'm not sure she knew what to expect either. We get to feed it using an App. It's interesting to say the least!!

DeleteI love the Currently linky! They make you think and it's fun to read others. I go back to school on Monday so I'm in my count down. We don't have a planning day, we just jump right in. (I think I left my plans done! LOL! )It is hard going back when you have little ones. My husband and I teach at the same school (adjoining rooms LOL!) and our kids come with us. My daughter is next door to me (4th) and my son goes off to middle school from our school. So Monday won't be too different. We all get in the car together and go to school. Fun right!!??
