Aaaargh! Ahoy!! A Book Study!!

Hey there!
We've totally been MIA this week due to crazy busyness in our personal lives.  My brain is all over the place for sure, so this will be short and sweet!

I'm excited to join in on this book study starting next week.  It will be our first book study via blog, so I'm interested to see how it will go.  I hope I can keep up!!  If not, will they make me walk the plank?  ;O)

You can click the pic above and it will give you the schedule of the chapters and who is hosting each one.

There are some great bloggers that are hosting chapters so I can't wait to see what everyone thinks of the book!  Gina said it was a quick, fun, easy read with lots of great ideas, so she convinced me to give it a go!  ;O)

I love the topics that are listed in the the table of contents and I can't wait to read about all of the hooks to increase student engagement.

I'm linking this up with Joanne at Head Over Heels for Teaching because I am hoping that reading this book will motivate me which will then motivate my students!  I'm super excited!

So, come along and learn how to teach like a pirate with us!

  7. Looking forward to the book study!! I've heard really great things about the book and have been wanting to read it! I am wondering what you recommend......kindle version or hard copy version. For me, it is easier to go back into the hard copy if I am referring back. So is this a book that I will want to be going back into often that I might want a hard copy instead of the kindle? I would appreciate anyone's opinion on this! Thanks! :)

    1. Hey Bev,
For professional development I prefer a hard copy so I can mark in it, make notes, and highlight. Then I can take it to school with me for quick reference.

      But that's just me!
