Currently in June
I apologize in advance for double posting today!
But, I had to jump in and do Farley's Currently!!
Yep, I can totally hear the kids watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse- "Oh Toodles!!"
I'm loving that I can sleep past 5:00 since it's summer except the next two weeks because I signed up to be a trainer for a math staff development. It's called Math Institute. I'll explain more about that later...maybe... ;O) It sounded good in January but now that it's June and I've only had 4 days off...I"m rethinking it. But I'll still go and I'll be glad I did it in the end...it's just the getting up early part...
So, therefore, I want the rest of summer to go slow because I'm afraid working for two weeks will make it fly. :O( We go back on July 31st.
Yes, I just closed out last year and I'm already figuring out how to get organized and start lesson planning for next year. What can I say? I'm a teacher. We all do it! :O)
And, I'm assuming if I'm going on vacay that I'm going to the beach (cuz that's where I'd want to go) so I'd bring my phone (because I can do everything on that) a bathing suit and sunscreen so I don't get french fried...
Thanks Farley!! This one was the easiest so far...probably because it's summer!!!

I am with you- I am trying to organize while I pack up for next year to make it easier at the beginning of the year. I am also trying to plan for a new Spanish level, but we will see how that goes. Hope your professional development goes well!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with Math Institute. We are having something very similar at my district, even called the same thing! July 31st seems really early. I can see why you are worried the summer will go quickly! Just do your best to enjoy every moment! :)

A teacher's job certainly never ends, huh? People who think we "don't work" in the summer are stupid. ;-)

You and I both want want the summer to by slowly! :) It seems every year it flies by faster and faster. Our staff development will not start until July, but I signed up for it, too. I hope you have a great rest of the day. I am a new follower and look forward to reading more posts.

I give you a lot of credit for signing up to do two weeks of staff development! Hopefully it will be very worthwhile. I hope the summer goes by slow too, but it never seems too! Enjoy sleeping past 5am and I love your clip art!

2 weeks of professional development!! Wow! It's going to be great though! I think I'm a professional development junkie, because I always get something out of it! I'm sure it will be great! I'm going to be using some of your organizational tips for next year! :)
ReplyDeleteMath Institute sounds interesting. Think about all the cool ideas you may get there :) I do get the fact that you want a break from all school related fun though. I hope it is time well spent!
