Hey Friends!
Hope your week is going well! I am here to link up with my friend Holly at Fourth Grade Flipper for her Tried It Tuesday linky!
I have 2 "Tried Its" to share today.
1. Yesterday was my mother-in-law's birthday so I decided to make a special dessert. I didn't have a lot of time so I needed something quick, easy, and super YUMMY! I found the perfect recipe: Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars! They turned out GREAT! Yayyyyyy!
Here is the link to the recipe
2. I am keeping my ocean classroom theme next year (which is a big deal for me because I tend to change themes every year!!! crazy I know...) so I have been creating some new decor. I made a banner to post on my door for the first day of school and Open House. I am really excited about it because I used Krista Wallden's Ocean Set and it is ADORABLE! :) I loooooove her clipart!
If you would like it, click here to download it from our TPT store for FREE!
Have a wonderful evening,
Stacia :)
That is the perfect "grade level" treat. We pick names and do a treat for each person on the grade level. That is perfect!

Teaching Little Miracles
Yum! Anything with chocolate and peanut butter is a definite winner in my book!! I'm glad that you are keeping your ocean theme next year because it makes me feel better about keeping my owl theme for one more year. I just have so much on my plate this summer and changing the theme is not a #1 priority. Plus, almost all my students wrote on their end of year memory books that their teacher loves "owls". Haha!! Thanks for linking up, Stacia!!

Your birthday bars look delicious! WIth 5 ingredients even I can handle that! :) Thanks for the freebie! I can't decide exactly what I want my theme to be this year...part of me just wants to use all of this cute polka dot and chevron prints and mix them together...with no specific theme other than that...but I can't decide!

Learning to the Core
Your peanut butter bars look yummy! Have you tried the chocolate chip cookie peanut butter cup brownies? Not sure if they have a real name but you get the break and bake chocolate chip cookies and flatten them placing one in each muffin cup in your muffin pan, then you place a peanut butter chip upside down on top of the cookie and then top it with brownie battery and bake according to the brownie box. DELICIOUS!!!!!!
